1979 CJ-7: If it's worth doing once...and general whatnot

So I haven't been too involved in the KOR community other than lurking at yalls' trails pics. Never been to a meet n greet, and haven't been on any rides with yall yet. I have met a few of you in person over the last couple of years.

The forum here has been kinda slow, so I'll contribute how I can.

I bought my CJ in high school after selling my first drumset. My folks matched what I had saved up, and I came home with this

1979 CJ-7 with a 304, T-150, Dana 20 combo.

One of my main cam bearings failed on the way to work around '99 or 2000, and it took me damn near 2 decades to get her back on the road. Preliminary shakedown run a couple of weeks ago up on the Powel River in Hancock Co was a success. Leave Friday for the next installment. If all works out over the dragon and back, then I'll be ready for the next phase of the build - bumpers, sliders, and skid plates. Then the real fun begins.
